Nobody is exempt from the ups and downs of life

Every person on earth goes through good times and bad times. This is true of rich people and of poor people – nobody is exempt from the ups and downs of life. The good times bring happiness and allow us to enjoy that period. The bad times are always difficult but we should not give up when that happens. The struggle during the bad times in our life are what takes us out of that period into better times. Once we are back again in the happy phase of life, the obstacles, difficulties all disappear and the struggles to get there become worthwhile.
It is very easy to lose faith in yourself and in your efforts during times of trouble. But don’t give up. Keep yourself steady and firm. Your confidence is the anchor that will see you through all your troubles and your woes. Be patient, and tell yourself that you can make it, that you will get over this, no matter how difficult it is right now.

Expressive by nature
Human beings are expressive by nature – so we laugh when we are happy and cry when we are upset. These expressions of our emotions is good for us. It is healing so don’t bottle up your feelings. Releasing your emotions can actually empower you – it is nature’s way of calming you and giving you strength. So take relief in tears and allow others to do it too.
Once you had had a good cry over your problems and frustrations, then see how you can get out of the bad situation you are in. Don’t stay immersed in your emotions – that will only make the difficulty that much harder to get out of. The problems become bigger. So shake off the feeling of sadness and see how you can improve things for yourself and for others.
Life has taught me that the troubled times are actually very necessary and good for us. They teach us important life lessons. Every bad situation gives us strength and makes us tough. Our attitude towards life becomes more positive and we become better and more generous by nature.
