Physical scars heal but they leave a mark. Mental and
emotional scars also leave a mark – they cause pain but also teach you
important life lessons. They make your stronger and shape your character and personality.
They change you in many ways.
Do not live in the past in the shadow of your mistakes
and pain. The past is over. Leave it behind and move forward to a better
tomorrow. It is natural to keep trying to figure out where you went awry, where
the mistakes occurred. But it is self-defeating exercise. If you keep worrying
about the past you lose sight of the future. The negativity of the past seeps

let it destroy you or your faith. Take heart that it will pass. And draw energy
from the pain to be able to deal with pain in future with greater fortitude.
