Most of us put leaders on a pedestal and expect them to be above the rest of the world. In many ways they are. They are able to handle difficult situations with ease, they can deal with people from all walks of life, they take on responsibilities of a very high order and they leave mere mortals wondering how they did it all. Not everybody is equipped to handle the stress and tension of being a leader which is why everyone does not become a leader.

Leaders have a clear vision of what they desire and they focus on their goals. They involve their team in the decision making process and appreciate their contribution.
Leaders have strong values and principles that they live by. All their work and plan are based on their beliefs.
These are the qualities you must cultivate if you want to be a good leader. You have all the qualities and the skills to become one. All that you have to do is believe in yourself and you will achieve everything you want to.
