The art of letting go

We all need to learn the art of letting go of the past and moving on with life. Instead of complaining about what has happened, we need to learn from our past experiences and look to the future. If things didn’t turn out the way we had wanted, then remember that it was meant to be that way – the pain suffered was inevitable because it carried a hidden message for us. And pain and suffering are as much a part of life as is death.
Take tough calls
Entrepreneurs don’t always succeed the first time they start a venture. They take risks, they take tough calls and make hard decisions and sometimes their gamble pays off and they succeed and at times they don’t. And that is fine, because they use the experience of not succeeding to motivate them to better results next time. But those who quit at the first sign of trouble or failure are the real losers. They give up and that is real failure.
Stepping stone
If things don’t go your way, if the results are different from what you had hoped, learn from these experiences, use each of these failures as a stepping stone to the next level. Success has to be hard one to be appreciated. Heartaches and frustration and anger at failure can be and should be turned around and used to motivate you to greater effort and greater heights. Nothing can be achieved overnight, you have to work hard, show determination and courage and perseverance if you want to go ahead. Only then you attain something worthwhile and valuable. History has shown us that most successful people achieved their success on the foundation of their initial failures.
Share the story
Learn from your mistakes and share the story of your struggle with others so that they can also learn from your experience. People draw inspiration from those who have overcome their difficulties and emerged stronger and victorious for it gives them the courage and resolve to pursue their dreams too.
